Good Morning and Welcome to St. Mary’s Church!
Stewardship Time: As we prepare to enter a new year, St. Mary’s Stewardship Committee is asking all members with a current pledge to renew their pledges and consider an increase in the level of your pledge. For those who do not pledge, now is the time! Today we will hear about our stewardship from Mr. Patrick Harding, chair, Stewardship Committee. Next week Mr. Redford Arrindell will address the congregation.
ALESSANDRA BELLONI: The Voyage of the Black Madonna: TODAY at 3:00 pm at St. Mary’s Church. A folk opera, a musical journey to the ancient sacred sites of the Black Madonna from Southern Italy, Spain, and France. $15 donation.
Vestry Meeting: Saturday, December 12 at 9:00 am sharp. Please copme and share your thoughts about St. Mary’s Church. All are welcome.
Four Projects: We passedthe half-way mark in Fundraising last week, with about $3500 of the $6000 we seek. This special collection is for a few desperately needed restoration projects, including fixing some leaking gutters and improving access with a new wheelchair ramp to the Sanctuary and a chair lift for the Undercroft. These are important projects identified by the Vestry and the Property Committee as needing urgent attention. Many thanks to Dannay MacFarlan, Bonnie Phelps, Celia Braxton, Susan Ferguson and Liz and Allen Mellen for baking goods for the bake sale that put us over the half-way mark!! Please consider making a special gift to help these projects become a reality. Please either write “4 Projects” on the memo line of your check or on the outside of an envelope with your donation. Thanks you very much, St. Mary’s!
