Eastertide Tuesdays: Pray and Bible Study – During Eastertide we will gather on Tuesday evenings for prayer and Bible Study. We will begin with prayers for peace at 6:30 pm and follow with an “African Bible Study” All are invited as we seek to follow the new light in our lives given to us in our savior Jesus.
Cropwalk: Thanks to all who helped this important work last week and many thanks to Ms. Bonnie Phelps for coordinating this effort again this year.

Eccelsia: Marcus Garvey Park: Sundays at 2:00 pm. St. Mary’s is the lead congregation on the first and third Sunday each month. Today we need some volunteers following the service to help us put together the meals. Also: St. Mary’s Homeless Street Outreach: Saturdays, 12 noon preparation and 2:00 pm street outreach. Please let us know if you can help and please keep the Homeless Street Outreach in your prayers. Thank you!!

The Episcopal Church Women’s Prayer Committee will meet next Sunday, May 9th, Mothers’ Day, following the 10:00 am service. The Rev. Chloe A. Breyer will lead the session. All women are invited.
Celebrate the legacy of Thurgood Marshall: Justice Marshall’s name was added to the calendar of saints, “Holy Men and Holy Women” this year, for May 17th the anniversary of Brown v. Board of Education. There will be a celebration on May 16th at 4:00 pm at St. Philip’s Church, 204 W. 134th St. Mr. Benjamin Jealous, President of the NAACP (and a member of St. Mary’s) will be the speaker.
NYC Redeemers Coalition will meet on Thursday May 20th at 11:30 am at “The Other Place” corner of West End Ave. and West 87th Street. See Charles Kelly for more details.
The Episcopal Church Women will meet on May 23rd following the 10:00 am service. All women are invited. Also, the ECW is planning a Rumage Sale, June 5th so please see Lisa Slocum for more details.
