Good Morning and Welcome to St. Mary’s Church!!

The flowers on the Altar this morning are given to the glory of God and in memory of Peg Harrison.

The ‘Ginormous’ Flea Market was a great success!! Through all your hard work we earned over $1,200. Well done, St. Mary’s!!

The Episcopal Church Women’s Prayer Committee will meet next Sunday, June 13th, Ms. Glenda White will lead the program. All women are invited.

St. Mary’s Summer Camp: For children 6 to 12 years old, a great summer of recreation and education. Come join in the fun! Session begins July 6th. Please see Ms. Pearl Harris or call the church office for registration information.

Peace of Pizza: This Wednesday, 7:00 pm, our monthly fellowship meal and discussion with the participants in the New York Intern Program at St. Mary’s. Come for a good time to get to know each other. All are warmly invited!!

Justice for the People of Palestine: A group of St. Mary’s members working for justice for the people of Palestine will meet here tomorrow at 6:00 pm. Come to join us to seek peace for the people of Palestine and Israel.

Stewardship Committee will meet on June 17th at 6:00 pm. If you want to help out, please see Patrick Harding or leave a message at the church office. Thank you!!

Help Seafarers: On Pentecost, Rev. Megan Sanders of Seamens’ Church Institute preach-ed here at St. Mary’s Church. There is now a movement to collect 500,000 signatures on a petition to the United Nations to end piracy . We have copies of the petition on the back table. Please sign if you are able. Thanks!

Commentaries on the Biblical Lessons: Today we continue putting short commen-taries on the Lessons in the bulletin. These commentaries are written by our own Arthur Cash to help us understand the lessons at a deeper level.

Eccelsia: Marcus Garvey Park: Sundays at 2:00 pm. St. Mary’s is the lead congregation on the first and third Sunday each month. Next Sunday we need some volunteers following the service to help us put together the meals. Also: St. Mary’s Homeless Street Outreach: Saturdays, 12 noon preparation and 2:00 pm street outreach. Please let us know if you can help and please keep the Homeless Street Outreach in your prayers. We need more volunteers for this important outreach ministry of the parish. Thank you!!

The Episcopal Church Women meet on the fourth Sunday of the month, June 27th. All women are invited; please see Celia Braxton, ECW coordinator, for more information.

Mariam, Mark and Marx: our monthly current events and Bible Study discussion group will meet on Thursday, June 24th at 7:00 pm. Please see Jim White for more information.

Breakfast after the 8:00 am service: June 27th, all are invited to stay and fellowship after our early service on the last Sunday of the month. Bagels and coffee served.
