St. Mary’s Summer Camp: For children 6 to 12 years old, a great summer of recreation and education. Come join in the fun! Session begins July 6th. Please see Ms. Pearl Harris or call the church office for registration information.
Eccelsia: Marcus Garvey Park: Sundays at 2:00 pm. St. Mary’s is the lead congregation on the first and third Sunday each month. Today we need some volunteers following the service to help us put together the meals, and getting the food to the Park through the bike race. Also: St. Mary’s Homeless Street Outreach: Saturdays, 12 noon preparation and 2:00 pm street outreach. Please let us know if you can help and please keep the Homeless Street Outreach in your prayers. We need more volunteers for this important outreach ministry of the parish. Thank you!!
The Vestry will meet this Wednesday, June 23rd at 6:00 pm. All are invited.
The Harlem African Burial Ground Task Force will meet this coming Thursday, June 24th at 4:00 pm at the Elmendorf Reformed Church, 171 E. 121st Street. All are invited.
Mariam, Mark and Marx: our monthly current events and Bible Study discussion group will meet on Thursday, June 24th at 7:00 pm. Please see Jim White for more information.
Movies at St. Mary’s: St. Mary’s and Ecclesia Ministries will show movies at 6:00 pm on Fridays (Friday, June 25th: Wall-E; Friday July 2: The Book of Eli); and once a month host and open mic cabaret. Come for the fellowship, the popcorn and the FUN!!
Breakfast after the 8:00 am service: June 27th, all are invited to stay and fellowship after our early service on the last Sunday of the month. Bagels and coffee served.
Next Week: March with us on Pride Sunday: The Committee on LGBT Concerns of the Diocese of New York and Integrity NYC Metro invite everyone to join us in the 2010 LGBT Pride March on Sunday, June 27th 2010. This year we have a float with music. The float is very basic. Our people will add the color, so dress accordingly and don’t forget the sunscreen. Our meeting place is on East 38th Street, between Madison and Park Avenues. Everyone should be there and ready to go at 12:30 p.m.
