The Anglican Covenant: We will meet again to discuss the proposed Anglican Covenant today following the 10:00 am service. Miguel Escobar will lead the discussion. Copies will be available on-line or on the back table in the Church.
Bishop Mark Sisk will visit St. Mary’s Church next Sunday, February 6th for Confirmation and preaching at the 10:00 am service. Let’s plan on a great celebration for Bishop Sisk. We need volunteers to help with food, so please let Rev. Kooperkamp know if you can help out. Thank you!
Property tours today following the 8:00 am service. Also, please notice that the scaffolding was taken down and the bridge will be dismantled next week for the new “facelift” of St. Mary’s street façade. Please see Liz Mellen or Dorothy Ross for more information. The next meeting of the Property Committee will be on Tuesday, February 8th at 5:30 pm.
Eccelsia: Marcus Garvey Park: Sundays at 2:00 pm. St. Mary’s is the lead congregation on the first Sunday each month. We need volunteers on today to help us make the lunches for the service. Also: St. Mary’s Homeless Street Outreach: Saturdays, 12:00 noon preparation and 2:00 pm street outreach. Please let us know if you can help and keep the Homeless Street Outreach in your prayers
Movies at St. Mary’s: 6:00 pm on Fridays. Come for the fellowship, the popcorn and the FUN!! Also, we need volunteers to help. Please let Lisa Slocum know if you can help out. Thanks!! Update the design of the St. Mary’s Website: We are blessed by a talented team of volunteers who maintain St. Mary’s website and Facebook pages, lead by Dorothy Ross and Lisa Slocum. There are literally thousands of visitors to the website and we have almost 100 “Friends” on the Facebook page. This is a new and important “Front Door” for St. Mary’s Church. If you would like to help give your advice about what should be on the website, please talk with Dorothy, Lisa or Rev. Kooperkamp. You don’t even have to know about computers to help! Thank you!!

Music at St. Mary’s: Feb. 27th, 3:00 pm “Black History Month Concert “Masked Ball” March 5th, an elegant celebration of our life together before Lent – a little Carnival, a little fun, some food and dancing!! What a combination. Mark your calendars!!
St. Mary’s “Annual Parish Meeting” will take place on Sunday, March 13th, The First Sunday of Lent, following the 10:00 am service. We will adopt a Parish Budget for 2011, elect a new Warden and Vestrymembers and hear reports about the ministries of our parish.
