The Episcopal Church Women’s Prayer Committee will meet today following the 10:00 am service. Ms. Glenda White is the presenter and all women are invited to attend.

The Coalition to Preserve Community will meet Tuesday, Feb. 15th at 6:00 pm. This is a meeting of the “Action Group” to form a strategy on the community response to Columbia’s expansion plan.
“Peace of Pizza” a meal and discussion with the participants in the New York Intern Program will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 16th at 7:00 pm. The theme this month is, “What were you doing in your early 20’s?” All are invited.
The Vestry will meet this Thursday, February 17th at 6:00 pm. All are invited to attend.

Update the design of the St. Mary’s Website: There were over 6,000 visitors to the website in 2010 and we have almost 100 “Friends” on the Facebook page. This is a new and important “Front Door” for St. Mary’s Church. If you would like to help give your advice about what should be on the website, please talk with Dorothy Ross, Lisa Slocum or Rev. Kooperkamp. You don’t even have to know about computers to help! Thank you!!
Black History Month events:
All Harlem Episcopal Service, February 27th at 11:00 am: Location: Church of the Intercession, 550 West 155th St. Please note: NO 10:00 am service at St. Mary’. Please bring in any pledges for Feb. 27th next week. Also, a special offering will be taken for Haiti.
Music at St. Mary’s: Feb. 27th, 3:00 pm “Black History Month Concert” The Harlem Chamber Players and special guests in concert at St. Mary’s. Tell your friends and family!!
“Masked Ball” March 5, 2011, an elegant celebration of our life together before Lent – a little Carnival, a little fun, some food and dancing!! What a combination. Mark your calendars!!
St. Mary’s “Annual Parish Meeting” will take place on Sunday, March 13th, The First Sunday of Lent, following the 10:00 am service. We will adopt a Parish Budget for 2011, elect a new Warden and Vestry members and hear reports about the ministries of our parish.
Peace Action Manhattan: “Bring War Dollars Home: Spend Dollars in the Community” Monday, Feb. 14th at 7:30 pm, Goddard Riverside Senior Center, corner of West 88th St. and Columbus Ave.
