Holy Week Schedule:
Palm Sunday: April 17; 10:00 am Procession with Bagpipes in the neighborhood.

Tenebrae: Wednesday April 20 at 6:30 pm; a meditative service of Psalms and song
Maundy Thursday: April 21 at 6:30 pm; Footwashing and Holy Communion followed by stripping the Altar and an Agape meal in the Rectory.
Good Friday: April 22, 12 noon – 3:00 pm, remembering the Crucifixion of Jesus;
Special music by the Harlem Chamber Players: Ms. Liz Player, Mr. Carl Jackson and Mr. David Miller
Holy Saturday: April 23, 12 noon, a short, meditative service in the Garden
Easter: April 23, 6:00 am, a Sunrise Vigil; 8:00 am, Holy Communion; 10:00 am, Holy Communion followed by an Easter Egg Hunt (for all children or adults who act like children!) Special Easter music by Ms. April Armstrong, Soprano; Mr. Nabate Iles, trumpet and St. Mary’s Choir.
At 2:00 pm we will celebrate our third Easter with Ecclesia, our Church for the Homeless in Marcus Garvey Park
Noonday Prayers: During Lent, we will have Noonday prayers at St. Mary’s Church, Monday through Friday. Please come join us! Also: Wednesdays at 4:00 pm come to pray the rosary here at St. Mary’s Church! Also, we will chant the “Great Litany” in solemn procession on the last three Fridays in Lent at the “Isaiah Wall” 42nd St. and First Avenue.
Eccelsia: Marcus Garvey Park: Sundays at 2:00 pm. St. Mary’s is the lead congregation on the first Sunday each month. Today we need volunteers to help us make the lunches for the service. Also: St. Mary’s Homeless Street Outreach: Saturdays, 12:00 noon preparation and 2:00 pm Street Outreach. Please let us know if you can help and keep the Homeless Street Outreach in your prayers.
Movies at St. Mary’s: 6:00 pm on Fridays. Come for the fellowship, the popcorn and the FUN!! Also, we need volunteers to help. Thanks!! April 15: The Social Network (Oscar-winning story of the creation of Facebook; PG13)
May 8th Special Mothers’ Day speaker on Domestic Violence, Ms, Sally McNichol, sponsored by the Episcopal Church Women.
May 14: Return of the “Ginormous Flea Market” Mark your calendars!! 10:00 am – 3:00 pm, rain or shine! Rummage items, craft items, books, health screenings, baked goods!
