Good Morning and Welcome to St. Mary’s Church!
New Furnace for St. Mary’s: The new furnace arrived last week and is being put online. Sorry for the chill, but soon and very soon it will be warmer at St. Mary’s!! Please pardon the mess! but it is for a very good cause. The new furnace will be more energy efficient and do a better job at heating the Sanctuary and Parish Hall. We will be able to save money on fuel cost (one of our larger expenses) and lessen the “carbon footprint” of the parish. Your support remains critical and deeply appreciated for this new venture.
Stewardship Campaign, 2012: Please take a Pledge Card for the 2012 Stewardship campaign. Today, Dr. Dorothy Ross (8:00 am) and Ms. Lois Coe (10:00 am) will speak on the theme, “What St. Mary’s Means to Me.” This year the Vestry and Stewardship Committee have a new plan: we will collect pledges for 1) Operations, 2) Building Fund, and 3). Mission. Our thought is that these are the three important activities that make us “St. Mary’s Church,” and we need to reflect this in our overall Stewardship. We will collect the Pledge Cards at our Harvest Service next week on Nov. 13th. Please pray during this period and ask God to direct you in your Stewardship response.
