Good Morning and Welcome to St. Mary’s Church!
New Furnace for St. Mary’s: Thanks be to God we have heat at St. Mary’s!! Please pardon the mess! but it is for a very good cause. The new furnace will be more energy efficient and do a better job at heating the Sanctuary and Parish Hall. We will be able to save money on fuel cost (one of our larger expenses) and lessen the “carbon footprint” of the parish. Your support remains critical and deeply appreciated for this new venture.
Stewardship Campaign, 2012: Today, Linda Struble (8:00 am) and Elizabeth Kooperkamp (10:00 am) will speak on the theme, “What St. Mary’s Means to Me.” This year the Vestry and Stewardship Committee have a new plan: we will collect pledges for 1) Operations, 2) Building Fund, and 3). Mission. Our thought is that these are the three important activities that make us “St. Mary’s Church,” and we need to reflect this in our overall Stewardship. Today is Amazing Grace Sunday , a final day to turn in your Pledge Card. Also, in thanksgiving for all our blessings from God, we are collecting a pack of new socks which we will distribute to our friends living on the streets: Sock It To Me Sunday!!
