 Wednesday, April 29, 7 pm “Truth to Power” Evensong to celebrate the Feast Day of St. Catherine of Siena, an ecumenical service with Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church at St. Mary’s; reception to follow.

Regular Happenings at St. Mary’s Church!

Ecclesia, every First Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in Marcus Garvey Park:                        St. Mary’s is the lead congregation on the 1st Sunday of each month. We always need some volunteers to help prepare and serve the “Second Meal” following the service.

Birthdays and Baptismal Blessings Every first Sunday of each month

Healing Prayer Every third Sunday of each month

Men’s Prayer Group meets every last Saturday of the month at 9:00 a.m.

ECW Prayer Group meets second Sundays following the 10:00 a.m. service.                 All women are welcome.  Please join us! 

 Episcopal Church Women meets every third Sunday of the month following the 10:00 a.m.   Church  Service.

The Vestry meets on the fourth Sunday of every month at 12 noon.  All are invited.

Miriam, Mark and Marx Gospel/Social Activism Group convenes on the last Thursday of every month at 6:00 p.m. Comrades from far and wide welcomed. Meet, eat, & defeat! For information on M,M&M. and Pastoral Care; please contact Mr. Jim White at (646)672-6186. 

Spirit and Strife Peer Support Group meets every first Sunday 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the rectory living room. New members always welcome. Come share your burdens and joys in this prayerful circle of support.

Free!  Movies Every Friday Night at St. Mary’s Church at 6:00 pm.  April 24, Porgy & Bess (musical drama, 1959, ur, 138 mins.) a sultry woman seeks comfort where dangers abound in this Gershwin opera w/D. Dandridge, S.Pojitier. Note: low-quality dvd transfer; this film was not released on whs or dvd. So…Come for the fellowship, the movie, the popcorn, and the fun…   as always volunteers are needed.
