IQ – Important Questions: Next meeting April, 30th 2pm-4pm

Engaging and encouraging children’s questions about life, death, meaning and faith. We explore scripture (especially the Book of Genesis) and tradition through art, movement, field trips, songs , stories, and service to others.  Meeting in the Rectory.

WHAT: An opportunity for civic engagement and a chance to learn about who could represent you and your communities (Harlem, Washington Heights, and the Bronx) in Congress.

WHEN: 6:30pm to 8:00pm on April 13, 2016.

WHERE: Grace Congregational Church located at 310 W 139th St, New York, NY 10030.

MODERATORS: David Rohde, two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist (The New York Times & Reuters) and Elinor Tatum, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of The New York Amsterdam News.

Come join Theatre of the Oppressed NYC’s flagship troupe, Concrete Justice. Use theatre & fun to confront community concerns in Harlem and New York City! Last year’s CJ show, Homeless Woes addressed gentrification, unsafe shelter conditions and problems in the housing system.  No acting experience necessary, all ages welcome! Fridays: 3:30pm to 5pm, (April 1st to June 3rd), St. Mary’s Episcopal Church Basement, 521 W 126th St, Harlem
